My client is a national construction and facilities company, part of a world leading construction group with a regional presence throughout the UK and a turnover of more than £1bn. Recent UK contracts include the upgrade of Docklands Light Railway and the new Nottingham Station car park. They are currently seeking 2 Senior Planning Engineer's to lead the planning activity on the NET2 Nottingham Tram Extension Project circa £570m. The role requires experience working within the UK highways/roads sector for a main contractor and a high degree of competency in Primavera P6. Minimum HND Civil Engineering (BSc or BEng in Civil Engineering advantageous) and strong planning experience essential as well as good communication skills, strong negotiation/influencing skills, practical application of risk management and ability to build strong relationships across various disciplines.
